Quench your thirst for knowledge

Are you passionate about the world of wine and gastronomy? Do you love to taste, smell, learn and discover and also share your passion with others? This exclusive ITHQ program combines high-level service techniques with knowledge of the fascinating world of wine and spirits. The goal? Give you comprehensive training that will turn you into a professional steward/sommelier who is ready for the world’s best restaurants.

Sharpen your senses and expand your knowledge through:

  • 30 weeks of practical courses at the ITHQ's teaching restaurants
  • An English internship outside Quebec
  • An internship at a Michelin-starred or Relais & Châteaux restaurant
  • An internship at a vineyard
  • A skills development internship in France or Italy
  • Passionate instructors who are involved in the wine industry in Quebec and around the world
  • The chance to take part in prestigious competitions

French is the language of instruction for ITHQ programs, with the exception of WSET® Level 2 Award in Wines and Level 3 Award in Wines (English only), International Sommelier, Montréal Tourist Guide and Advanced Studies in International Hotel Management (bilingual: French and English).
