- Spread over 3 years old on a full-time basis (6 course sessions and 2 summer internships
- Includes a total of 3 730 hours, including 2 795 hours of coursework and 1 135 hours of compulsory internships

- Educational outings and practical applications taking place according to variable schedules (day or evening)
Hands-on experience
Compulsory internships:
- 4-month paid summer internship (415 h) in English immersion outside Québec in customer service
- 3-month paid or rewarded summer internship (420 h) abroad, subject to obtaining the required visa, in hotel operations
- 8-week unpaid end-of-program internship (300 h) in supervision of a work team
Practical applications:
- Throughout the training course: practical applications in hotel reception, restaurant service, bar service, etc.

- Attestation of completion of the Éduc’alcool Action Service program
Articulation agreement
If you have a DCS from the ITHQ, you can access the Applied Bachelor in Hospitality and Hotel Management or the Baccalauréat en gestion du tourisme et de l’hôtellerie ITHQ-ESG UQAM and get your university degree in 2 years instead of 3
To benefit from this agreement, you must have a minimum R-score cut-off of 26 and meet all program admission requirements.

To be eligible for this program, you must:
- Have a Secondary School Diploma (DES) or equivalent education, OR
- Have a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) and successfully completed the Secondary 5 language of instruction courses, the Secondary 5 second language and Secondary 4 mathematics courses (Culture, société et technique CST 4e – 063404 or equivalent).
- Demonstrate proficiency in oral and written French: refer to the Required language proficiency page for more details.

Admission application procedure
- Applicants must ensure that they meet the program’s admission requirements before submitting their application.
- Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.
- For your admission file to be considered complete, it must contain a copy of all the official documents required by the ITHQ in accordance with your status, as listed above.
- These documents must be legible and saved in PDF format. Documents in a language other than French or English must also be accompanied by a certified translation into French or English.
