Duties of a butler

Anticipate their employer’s needs, take care of the day-to-day management of their personal life and make their environment pleasant and hassle-free
Organize activities and special events
Perform a variety of tasks such as preparing and serving drinks, approving menus, packing and unpacking, running errands, making reservations, managing a property, managing staff and suppliers, etc.
May work in hotels, luxury rental residences or for private individuals

Required experience and training

You need between 3 and 5 years’ experience in luxury hotels before you can become a butler.
