Welcome to the ITHQ! Here is all the information you need to prepare for the start of your school year.
Important dates
- May 15: deadline to confirm your registration and pay the registration fee
- May 30, June 1-3: Fitting sessions and purchase of uniforms at the ITHQ
- August 16: start of classes for new Cuisine supérieure students (AVS)
- August 19: start of classes for new vocational training students (DVS and AVS)
- August 21: start of classes for new technical education students (DCS)
- September 3: start of classes for new students of the university programs
Orientation days
Your orientation day will allow you to meet your new colleagues and instructors and help you find your bearings in the school.
Here are the dates and times of the orientation days by program:
- August 16, 2024 : Vocational programs (detailed schedule to come)
- August 19 or 20, 2024 : Technical programs (detailed schedule to come)
- September 3, 2024 : University programs (detailed programs to come)
Uniforms and tools
Visit the Uniforms and tools page for a list of items needed for your program of study, fitting information, and contact information for our suppliers.
The fitting sessions will take place on May 30, June 1 and June 3, 2024, by appointment only. To reserve a time-slot for a fitting, please fill out the online form.

Courses schedule
- Your schedule will be available on the ColNET platform no later than the week before classes begin.
- Download the free ITHQ École mobile application for Android or iPhone to access it on your phone.
Login to the student portal
- In the weeks following the payment of your registration fees, you will receive an email at your personal address confirming the creation of your ITHQ email address.
- Once you receive this email, you will be able to access the student portal on the ITHQ website. This is where you will find all the information you need to get acquainted with your new school (classified ads, job and internship offers, student card, OPUS card, locker, student services, etc.).
- We invite you to log in to the student portal once you have received your new email address.
- If you are unable to log in, please contact the registrar’s office.
Adapted services
- Students with disabilities or learning impairments may enroll in adapted services (in French only) as soon as their registration fee is paid.
- At the beginning of the school year, a member of the student success centre team will contact those enrolled to schedule a meeting with them.
International students
