Born into the iconic Catalan Torres family, Mireia Torres carries on the legacy of her father, Miguel Torres, a pioneer in modernizing Spanish winemaking. Today, she represents a new generation of forward-thinking winemakers, committed to innovation and sustainability: reviving ancestral grape varieties, adapting to climate challenges, and creating innovative wines.
What to expect
Held in a relaxed atmosphere at the Blanc bec bar at the ITHQ, this French and English workshop will take you on a journey through Spain’s major wine regions and the secrets behind their distinctive wines. Through a guided tasting led by Mireia Torres, discover a vision of wine where tradition meets innovation — an experience that tells the story of Spain, past, present… and future.
Four wines from the Torres family will be served, paired with a Québec cheese plate.
