Bio

Having earned a Ph.D. in Administration from the Université de Sherbrooke and an MBA in international hospitality management (IMHI) from ESSEC Business School, Marie-Claire Louillet has been teaching at the ITHQ since 2006, in the areas of revenue optimization, electronic distribution, management of operational processes in accommodation as well as information systems management. She is also an associate professor at Université Laval, in the Marketing Department of the Faculty of Management Sciences, since 2021.

Considered a specialist in hotel management, she worked for 10 years with Hilton International in Paris, London, Montréal and Rome, and also managed hotels in Puerto Rico and Cuba. She has also taught at the Université du Québec à Montréal, McGill University (Montréal) and the Institut de conciergerie internationale (Paris), as well as being a guest lecturer at the Autonomous University of Guerrero (Acapulco). Her professional and academic backgrounds allow her to position herself today as a specialist in the evaluation of information systems in the tourism industry.

Her current research projects focus on revenue optimization and collaborative innovation in the restaurant services industry.
