- Louis-Philippe Bourgeois, a 1991 graduate of the ITHQ’s Tourisme program, is named general manager.
- Alain Cousineau, President and CEO of Loto-Québec, is appointed Chairman of the Board.
- First major fundraising campaign under the presidency of Christiane Germain, co-president of Germain Hôtels. Nearly $700,000 is raised during this campaign.
- First edition of the Grand Dîner de la rentrée.
- First edition of the Dîner de la bourse Françoise-Kayler.
- René-Luc Blaquière is appointed Executive Director of the Fondation de l’ITHQ. A graduate of the ITHQ’s Art Culinaire program in 1958, he has worked for over 50 years in the development of the hospitality industry, both in Canada and abroad. In 2017, he is named a Member of the Order of Canada in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the development of gastronomy.
- First edition of the Club des bâtisseurs, a campaign dedicated to graduates.
- First edition of the Grands Chefs Relais & Châteaux event, initiated by Jean Saine, president of Saine Marketing, who is president of the organizing committee of the event until 2013.
- Jacques Parisien, Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of Astral Media and President of Astral Radio, is appointed Chairman of the Board. His term will end in 2015.
- Hosting of the annual Soirée-hommage fundraising event. This evening pays tribute to a Québec figure who has left a mark in their industry by celebrating their personal and professional achievements.

- Paloma Fernandez, a 1983 graduate of the ITHQ Tourisme program, is named Executive Director.
- The ITHQ and its foundation creates the Cercle des ambassadeurs to recognize major donors as well as Québec and international personalities. It is intended to highlight the important role they have played in the development of the ITHQ and the growth of the tourism, hospitality and restaurant services industry.
- The 2013-2017 major fundraising campaign raises more than $3 million thanks to the mobilization of its campaign cabinet, its two co-chairs, Mr. Jean-Pierre Léger and Mr. Lino A. Saputo Jr. as well as its honorary president, the Honourable Fernand Roberge.
- Creation of the Soirée Art X Gastronomie, supported by the Brigade des jeunes gastronomes.
- Guy Larivée, President of Hector Larivée, is appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors.
- First edition of the annual golf tournament at the prestigious Royal Montreal Golf Club.
- Guillaume Dubois, President of Berthelet, is appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors.
- The Fondation de l’ITHQ is celebrating its 20th anniversary. Since its creation, the Fondation has awarded more than $3 million in scholarships and financial assistance to ITHQ students and graduates. It has also provided financial support for a number of research and entrepreneurial projects worth over $4.5 million. Over the years, its 67 prestigious fundraising events have welcomed more than 11 000 guests.
