Discover the craftsmanship behind Zaku sake
On September 2, the Restaurant de l’ITHQ invites you to an exceptional gastronomic evening celebrating Zaku sake. Visiting from Japan especially for the occasion, Ms. Masae Shimizu, President of Shimizu Seizaburo Shoten Brewery, will present the brewery’s renowned sakes alongside Benoît Champagne, founder of Nijikai Sake.
Founded in 1869, Shimizu Seizaburo Shoten is celebrated for its Zaku sake, which combines traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary approach. Known for their balance, elegance and refined character, Zaku sakes are crafted to complement fine cuisine and create harmonious food pairings.
For this special evening, Benoît Champagne and chef Karine Beauchamp have created a five-course tasting menu paired with a selection of Zaku sakes. Throughout the evening, Benoît and Ms. Shimizu will share their passion for sake, its history, and the philosophy that inspires this iconic brewery.
