On Friday, March 20, the Restaurant de l’ITHQ will proudly feature an urban vineyard that has sparked a lot of excitement among wine enthusiasts: Lieux Communs, established at Montréal’s Marché Central since 2021.
During this special evening, you will have the privilege of exploring unique wines crafted from hybrid grape varieties, embodying a minimalist approach inspired by old school, natural techniques.
Cutting across the divide between urban and rural life, namely thanks to its vineyards cultivated in Oka, the project embodies a hybrid, boreal and contemporary approach to viticulture.
Karine Beauchamp, executive chef at the Restaurant de l’ITHQ, will create a bespoke menu to pair with the vineyard’s wines, which she will choose in collaboration with sommelier Julien Gagnon. Guillaume Laliberté and Daniel Gillis, two of Lieux Communs’ four partners, will be on-site to showcase their products.
