An Exceptional Evening by ITHQ’s Emerging Talent<\/h3>\n

This new concept of a gastronomic cocktail dinner, designed as a food and wine pairing experience, showcased the talent of students from the Superior Culinary Arts Program. Students from the Gastronomic Restaurant Service Program managed the five service courses of the evening. The food and wine pairings were carefully selected by \u00c9ric Chevrier, the evening’s master sommelier, an ITHQ graduate and ma\u00eetre d’h\u00f4tel at the Restaurant de l’Institut.<\/p>\n

Organized in collaboration with the Association Restauration Qu\u00e9bec (ARQ), the event was held under the honorary chairmanship of Mr. Claude Desc\u00f4teaux, Chair of the ARQ Board of Directors from 2003 to 2006. Thanks to the generosity and participation of guests, a total of $29,200 was raised.<\/p>\n

The Fondation de l’ITHQ would like to extend special thanks to our alumni, former Fran\u00e7oise-Kayler Scholarship recipients, for their participation in an intimate and inspiring panel during the evening: Jonathan Lapierre-R\u00e9hayem, Director of Food & Beverage at the Institut de tourisme et d’h\u00f4tellerie du Qu\u00e9bec (ITHQ); Jessica No\u00ebl, co-owner of Mon Lapin and R\u00f4tisserie La Lune; and Marc-Andr\u00e9 Jett\u00e9, co-owner of Hoogan et Beaufort, Annette Bar \u00e0 vin, Boucherie \u00c9douard & L\u00e9o, and Hoogan et Beaufort \u00c9v\u00e9nement.<\/p>\n
