To ensure <strong>fair and equitable treatment<\/strong> of these requests, the institution has adopted <strong>guidelines<\/strong> which are shared here with full transparency.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Does your organization wish to submit such an application to the ITHQ? To find out whether your request qualifies, we invite you to consult this page. It outlines our <strong>eligibility and evaluation criteria<\/strong>, <strong>details how the ITHQ can contribute,<\/strong> and explains the <strong>procedure<\/strong> for submitting a formal application.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Guiding principles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The ITHQ supports organizations, events and projects that enable it to <strong>fulfill its mission<\/strong> and <strong>strengthen its positioning<\/strong> as a leading hotel school. Thus:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The ITHQ favours collaborations that support its mission and leadership role in the <strong>tourism, hospitality and restaurant services<\/strong> (THR)<strong> sectors<\/strong>. Proposals aligned with these sectors are therefore given priority.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Above all, ITHQ encourages the <strong>training of the next generation<\/strong>, mainly through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ithq.qc.ca\/en\/fondation-de-lithq\/\">Fondation de l&#8217;ITHQ<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The ITHQ already maintains <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ithq.qc.ca\/en\/about-the-ithq\/social-responsibility-and-community-commitment\/\">close ties<\/a> with the non-profit organizations <strong>La Tabl\u00e9e des Chefs<\/strong> and<strong> La Maison du P\u00e8re.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility criteria&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to be considered, your request for partnership, donation or sponsorship must meet the following criteria:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The application cannot involve the promotion of a brand or product.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The application cannot be submitted in favour of a single individual.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The application must come from a <strong>recognized organization<\/strong> (NPO, company, etc.) that displays environmentally responsible practices and sound management and governance.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The organization submitting the application must have no political or religious affiliation.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The event or project related to the application must take place within <strong>Qu\u00e9bec territory<\/strong> or within a territory related to the ITHQ&#8217;s development prospects or recruitment objectives.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Projects involving students or instructors<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applications directly involving students or instructors will only be considered if they can be <strong>integrated into the ITHQ\u2019s pedagogical objectives and contents.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>These applications must be submitted <strong>at least 12 months before <\/strong>the start of the project or event so that they can be properly assessed by teaching teams and, where appropriate, incorporated into course syllabus and school calendars.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-vortex-blocks-notification-message notification-message-block\"><div class=\"notification-message-block__inner\"><p class=\"notification-message-block__title notification-title\">Requests for volunteers<\/p>\n<p>The ITHQ does not promote volunteer opportunities to students. However, it is possible to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ithq.qc.ca\/en\/employers\/\">publish a job or internship offer<\/a> on our site.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Possible ITHQ contributions&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The ITHQ does not offer monetary donations or sponsorships.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The ITHQ may, on occasion, offer <strong>gift vouchers<\/strong> redeemable at Restaurant de l\u2019ITHQ, bar\u00a0 Blanc bec, H\u00f4tel de l&#8217;ITHQ, La Rel\u00e8ve gourmande teaching restaurant or Ateliers SAQ par ITHQ. In such cases, the choice of service and the value of the gift are at the discretion of the ITHQ.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Deadlines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Filing of application<\/strong>: at least <strong>3 months<\/strong> <strong>before <\/strong>the event or project&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>If involving students or instructors<\/strong>: at least <strong>12 months<\/strong> <strong>before <\/strong>the event or project&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Any requests that do not meet these deadlines may be automatically rejected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Response timeframe&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>All complete applications will receive an email response from ITHQ within <strong>30 days<\/strong> of receipt.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-vortex-blocks-notification-message notification-message-block\"><div class=\"notification-message-block__inner\"><p class=\"notification-message-block__title notification-title\">Renewal of your agreement\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If your request is approved, it will not be renewed automatically.\u00a0To renew your agreement with the ITHQ, <strong>you must submit a new application<\/strong> following the established procedure.
