{"id":25635,"date":"2023-04-28T15:50:39","date_gmt":"2023-04-28T19:50:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ithq.qc.ca\/?page_id=25635"},"modified":"2023-09-25T18:13:48","modified_gmt":"2023-09-25T22:13:48","slug":"commission-pedagogique","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ithq.qc.ca\/en\/about-the-ithq\/governance\/commission-pedagogique\/","title":{"rendered":"Commission p\u00e9dagogique"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mandate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The mandate of the Commission p\u00e9dagogique is to advise the Director\u2019s office on the organization and development of vocational and technical education.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scope of action<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Commission p\u00e9dagogique is called upon mainly to advise on educational initiatives designed to improve the quality of teaching. In particular, it must be consulted on the following issues:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Development and implementation of the educational initiatives to be offered to students, including the development of new options or specialties in line with local needs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work conditions and work organization for students and their success<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Distance learning offerings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pedagogical policies regarding the library and the purchase and selection of texts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any local regulations of an educational nature on student admission and grading criteria<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Standards and priorities for educational equipment, layout and modification of premises<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establishment of the school calendar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any other educational subject determined by the labour relations committee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any problem relating to school organization, curricula, course content, the choice of complementary courses to be offered the clientele, where applicable;
