A OPC exam near you
As required by the Travel Agents Act, travel professionals must pass an exam and obtain certification from the Office de la protection du consommateur (OPC) in order to practise in this field.
The ITHQ’s hospitality consulting centre has been mandated by the OPC to administer this exam. It also provides professionals with the tools to prepare for it.
This exam is intended for:
Anyone who wishes to become a travel agency manager.
Conditions
- Registration for the exam must be done online. No registration is possible by email or phone.
- The OPC exam is taking in-person and consists of 50 questions. To achieve a passing grade of 70%, 35 of these questions must be answered correctly.
- Your result will be given to you immediately after the exam.
- Successful completion of the exam will earn your OPC certificate for travel agency manager.
Service in English is reserved for individuals covered by the exceptions stipulated in the Charter of the French language. By taking the exam in English, you are confirming in good faith that you are covered by one of these exceptions. Please visit the Charter page for exceptions.
