The bible for sommeliers and wine aficionados (in French only)
There are many books about wine, including collections of reviews and tasting suggestions, but this one stands out as THE reference manual on today’s wine world.
Content
This book presents the appellations of small and large producing countries, including Canada, and takes into account Québec’s wine offerings. It also covers vineyard cultivation as well as service, management, sensory analysis of wine and food and wine pairing. Finally, it discusses other alcoholic beverages and bottled waters.
This work is both educational and intended for a wide audience. Authors Pascal Patron, Kathleen McNeil and Jean-Luc Jault, instructors at the Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ), wanted to provide sommelier education, at the ITHQ and elsewhere, with a solid tool, while sharing their knowledge and passion with wine enthusiasts, whether they are novices or connoisseurs.
