The wine world in English: Opening the doors to international sommelier training
For an international overview of the wine industry, and for sommelier training that will open doors around the world, take the WSET® Level 2 Award in Wines, a leading-edge program in English, at the ITHQ.
This sommelier program is approved by the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET®), a British training institute recognized as a leading wine authority. Whether you already work with wine or are an avid connoisseur, it can also be your first step towards a Master of Wine (MW) certification, the world’s most prestigious title in the sommelier profession.
General course content:
The content of this level focuses mainly on the key grape varieties and regions of the world. Wine tasting is part of each course.

WSET® Level 2 Award in Wines Diploma
Candidates must meet all requirements of their chosen program.
Note for international applicants:
Admission to this program is conditional upon obtaining or holding a valid status in Canada (tourist visa, study permit, work permit, visitor record, etc.) for the duration of the program.
Note that study permits cannot be issued for part-time studies in Quebec and that the ITHQ does not provide letters of invitation for Temporary Resident Visas (TRV). For more information, consult the website of the ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI).
