Develop a global and up-to-date understanding of the world of wine

Have you mastered the basic concepts of wine and want to deepen your oenological knowledge? Whether you’re a restaurant-industry professional or an earnest amateur, the ITHQ’s Wine Professional program has been designed specifically to quench your thirst for learning and open doors to an exciting career in the sommelier arts.

Offered as 3 separate modules, our Wine Professional program will help you develop a global view of everything to do with winemaking. In addition to learning the different steps involved in making wine and spirits along with the basics of professional tasting and wine and food pairings, you will learn to identify the organoleptic characteristics of wines from different regions of Europe and the rest of the world. With advice from our eminent professors, multiple tastings, and “fruitful” meetings with producers, you will come out of this program with the knowledge and confidence you need to help your clients choose the wine that best suits their tastes and budget.
