Learn what it takes to run a tourism project from A to Z
Do you have insatiable curiosity and a knack for customer service? Are you a resourceful travel companion who loves to plan trips and excursions? Then tourism is your calling! However, going from occasional travel bug to seasoned tourism professional requires a wide range of skills.
Offered as an alternating work-study, the ITHQ’s Tourism Techniques program will help you gain an in-depth understanding of the tourism industry. The goal is to make you a versatile professional who can develop and manage all aspects of a tourism project, from communications and partnership development to market release and budget management. After taking this program, you’ll be able to provide your clients with comprehensive and high-quality tourism experiences and find that your expertise is in demand both in Quebec and around the world.

French is the language of instruction for ITHQ programs, with the exception of WSET® Level 2 Award in Wines and Level 3 Award in Wines (English only), Montréal Tourist Guide and Applied Bachelor in Hospitality and Hotel Management (bilingual: French and English).
