To mark the 2025 edition of the Montréal en lumière Festival, which is showcasing the work of women, the ITHQ is delighted to welcome Paula Cook Papini, owner of the Le Miccine vineyard, located in the Chianti region of Tuscany.
About Paula Cook Papini
Originally from Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, Paula completed her education in agriculture and oenology before moving to Italy to pursue her passion for wine. In 2010, she and her parents become owners of Le Miccine vineyard, a historic estate in Gaiole in Chianti.
Committed to preserving traditional Chianti viticultural practices while integrating modern, sustainable techniques, the winery now produces 30,000 bottles a year. In recent years, its small production of certified organic artisan wines has caught the eye of a number of high-end gastronomic restaurants and establishments, both in Québec and worldwide.
