You must meet the following criterias :

  • Be at least 18 years of age before the courses begin
  • Have a good basic knowledge of the wine industry
  • Be sufficiently fluent in spoken and written English


Spots are limited to 24 students per group. Students are chosen on a priority basis according to their order of registration.

Tuition fees are payable for each term of the program, and are refundable, minus a 25% administrative fee, provided that students cancel their registration before the first day of the term. No refunds will be granted after this date. The ITHQ reserves the right to cancel a course or program due to insufficient enrolment. In such cases, application and tuition fees are refunded.


  • Other fees include third-party liability insurance, compulsory for all.
  • Fees include lecture notes, wine samples and WSET® course materials.
  • All amounts are in Canadian dollars.
  • All amounts listed can changed without noticed.
  • Employers subject to the Act to promote workforce skills development and recognition are entitled to submit the cost of this training program as part of the 1% of total payroll that companies must invest in employee training.

Various Canadian banks offer a student line of credit service for candidates admitted to this program.
