Anglais de la restauration 2

This course will help prepare students to communicate effectively in a variety of restaurant-related situations including taking orders, suggesting cocktails and wine, explaining menu items, recommending dishes, handling complaints and responding to requests.

Emphasis will be placed on accurate, professional use of oral English. Activities in class and the language lab will provide practice in attaining a level of fluency necessary to function in the restaurant industry.

Students will be expected to study restaurant-related vocabulary and complete any homework assigned in order to make progress in attaining the course objectives.
