Goal
Maximize the financial performance of hospitality establishments given their specific contexts.
Overview
This course will first cover the basics of finance for hospitality industries and then go into detail about risk assessment based on the concept of the time value of money. Students will explore different financial markets and assess the value of the company’s assets. From the standpoint of sustainable development, students will also learn to create and analyze the components of a provisional cash flow statement to meet the establishment’s liquidity needs and financial health for its periodic reporting requirements.
