ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Note that this part-time program is not available to international students.

To be eligible for this program, applicants must meet the following requirements:  

You must also meet one of the following conditions:  

  • Have a Diploma of College Studies (DCS) with an R-Score cut-off of 24
    OR 
  • Have successfully completed university-level courses with content deemed appropriate for the program and totalling at least 15 credits, with a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.3, or the equivalent
    OR 
  • Have obtained a diploma outside Quebec after at least 13 years of schooling
    OR 
  • Be at least 21 years of age, have the appropriate knowledge, have at least 1 year of relevant experience (minimum of 1700 hrs), and have stopped your full-time studies for at least 2 sessions, excluding the summer session   

Notes: 

  • Candidates who did their studies outside Quebec: To find out the degree generally required based on the country where you studied, consult the Guide des niveaux de formation pour l'admission générale des candidats non québécois (French only, for reference only). 
  • You must have your eligible Math or Accounting credit certified before the start of the second session of your program.

Cancellation

  • Tuition fees are fully refundable if students cancel their registration 10 business days before the first day of the term.
  • Tuition fees will be refunded minus a 25% administrative fee if students cancel their registration less than 10 business days before the first day of the term.
  • No refunds will be granted after this date.
  • The ITHQ reserves the right to cancel a course or program due to insufficient enrolment. In such cases, application and tuition fees are refunded.

Notes:

  • Tuition fees can be paid in installments.
  • Registration fees include administrative services, student association fees, a voluntary contribution to the ITHQ Foundation and civil liability insurance.
  • Fees for internships and compulsory educational activities (including airfare, visa(s), accommodation, etc.) are the responsibility of students.
  • Students may have additional expenses, i.e., to purchase books and course notes.
  • Tuition fees for French and francophone Belgian citizens are the same as for Canadian residents who are not residents of Quebec. However, these students must pay the same new file charge as for all international students.
  • A fee of $50 applies for a comparative evaluation of studies done outside Quebec, if required.
  • All fees are in Canadian dollars.
  • The amounts indicated are subject to change without notice.
  • Employers subject to the Act to promote workforce skills development and recognition are entitled to submit the cost of this training program as part of the 1% of total payroll that companies must invest in employee training.

FINANCIAL AID

Student financial aid (reserved for Quebec residents) is available under the Loans and Bursaries Program of the ministère de l’Éducation et de l’Enseignement supérieur.

Various financial institutions offer a student line of credit service for candidates admitted to this program.
