Eligibility

You must meet the following criteria for eligibility to this program:

  • Be at least 18 years of age before the courses begin.
  • Hold at least a high school or vocational diploma, or have a level of education considered sufficient.
  • Have stopped your full-time studies for at least 2 consecutive sessions or 1 academic year OR pursued post-secondary education for at least 1 year;
  • Be fluent in spoken and written French and English (an ability to speak a third language such as German or Spanish is an asset);
  • Undergo an interview during which your language skills will be evaluated.

Note:
This program is not open to international applicants since a student visa cannot be obtained in Quebec for part-time programs lasting more than 6 months.

Cancellation

  • Tuition fees are fully refundable if students cancel their registration 10 business days before the first day of the term.
  • Tuition fees will be refunded minus a 25% administrative fee if students cancel their registration less than 10 business days before the first day of the term.  
  • No refunds will be granted after this date. 
  • The ITHQ reserves the right to cancel a course or program due to insufficient enrolment. In such cases, application and tuition fees are refunded.

Notes:

  • Other fees include third-party liability insurance, compulsory for all.
  • Students should allow for additional costs to purchase books and lecture notes.
  • All amounts are in Canadian dollars.
  • All amounts listed can changed without noticed.
  • Employers subject to the Act to promote workforce skills development and recognition are entitled to submit the cost of this training program as part of the 1% of total payroll that companies must invest in employee training.
