Wines from every angle, from the land to the bottle

This ITHQ Signature program* is intended for food service, sommelier training and wine industry professionals who have successfully completed Découverte du vin I. Unique in North America, it provides you with the know-how required to perform the duties of a wine consultant or specialist. 

As part of the program, you will learn from experts in the field and acquire the skills needed if you wish to pursue further training abroad. It provides an opportunity to perfect your knowledge of the production, classification and origin of wines and spirits from Europe and the world over, enabling you to engage in or continue professional activities in the field of sommelier training or the wines and spirits industry. 

The many wine tastings held throughout your training will reveal all the secrets of the wine-producing regions of France, Italy, Spain and Portugal. You will also be given an overview of New World wines (from the Americas, Oceania and South Africa). Lastly, you will learn to accurately apply the principles of professional wine tasting and develop your knowledge of the management and service of wines in restaurants.
