Holding an MBA as well as an M.Sc. in Management with a specialization in Service Marketing and Management from the Aix-Marseille Graduate School of Management, Nelson Théberge was born into a family of hoteliers and has more than 30 years of experience in management positions at numerous hotels. A former Chair of the Board of Directors of Association Hôtellerie Québec, he has sat on the boards of several other industry associations, including the Hotel Association of Canada, Corporation de l’industrie touristique du Québec, and Kéroul. He is also a member of the Ordre des administrateurs agréés du Québec.
He has held several management positions at the ITHQ, where he now teaches university-level hotel management courses. His main fields of interest are innovation in service sector production processes and the behaviour of customer contact employees in innovative situations.
