Since 2007, the Hôtel de l’Institut has gone green, in an effort to reduce its ecological footprint and respond to the needs of clientele that is aware of sustainable tourism. The Hôtel participates in sustainable development recognition programs organized by l’Association des hôteliers du Québec (AHQ) and the Hotel Association of Canada (HAC).

network and the Canadian Green Key
program, the Hôtel de l’Institut continually improves its procedures for obtaining supplies and providing its clientele with top-notch services, aiming to reduce the negative impact of its activities on the environment.
In all its housekeeping activities, the Hôtel de l’Institut uses innovative 100% biodegradable products made by Innu-Science Canada inc.
