Focusing on the development of managerial skills in tourism, international hotel management, and restaurant services, these value-added programs offer many advantages.

The ITHQ offers three exclusive Signature programs that lead to a Diploma of College Studies (DCS):

Focusing on the development of managerial skills in tourism, international hotel management, and restaurant services, these value-added programs offer many advantages:

  • Dynamic pedagogical methods based on the work-study format, including situational exercises or simulations that reflect industry practices;
  • Acquiring strong management skills, particularly human resources skills;
  • Specific emphasis on general knowledge, interpersonal communication and language proficiency;
  • Familiarity with technological tools used by the industry;
  • Addition of practical courses that allow students to acquire an overview and general knowledge of related sectors (cuisine, service, bar service; sommellerie, food science, food chemistry).

Please note that the ITHQ, in partnership with UQAM, also offers an integrated DCS/Bachelor's degree program in Tourism and Hotel Management (French only). It allows students to complete a college-level vocational program and a university-level Bachelor's degree in this field in five years, rather than six
