| In the Heart of Downtown Montreal |
The ITHQ is situated in the Plateau Mont-Royal district, one of Montreal’s most trendy neighbourhoods. The Institute is located on Saint Denis Street, opposite the magnificent Saint Louis Square and only steps away from the spirited Latin Quarter, the Université du Québec à Montréal (University of Quebec in Montreal) and La Grande Bibliothèque.

| The Attractions of Montreal |
The only French-speaking metropolis in North America, Montreal is only a few hours by car from major tourist destinations – New York, Boston, Quebec City, and Toronto - therefore providing a strategic geographic and tourist location. Possessing recreational and tourist importance, this European-style, North-American city pulsates with activities offering a quality of life said to be among the best in the world.
For more details about the multiple attractions of Quebec's metropolis, including information on its numerous festivals, its cultural calendar, the diversity of its ethnic communities, and the municipal services offered to them, please consult the Web site of the city of Montreal.
| Transportation and Parking |
The Institute is located just above the Sherbrooke Subway Station which offers access to anywhere in Montreal and the South Shore of the metropolis. Thanks to its subway and bus network, the public transport system offers a perfect travel solution for students attending the ITHQ, especially since the neighbourhood surrounding the Institute does not provide many parking options. In addition, the Institute is only a few minutes walk from the main bus terminal which serves the principal cities of Quebec and beyond, and which allows easy access to Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport.

| Where to Stay |
Even though the ITHQ does not posses any student residences, the Institute’s students can use the residences of the Université du Québec à Montréal which are located nearby. Students can also consult the ads posted at the student Café or the following Web site:
