At ITHQ, student academic success is a primary goal of all the personnel. Consequently, to help students succeed in their studies, various resources have been made available to them. It is to be noted that these resources are added to the support offered by the teams of specialists who are members of the computer and multimedia services, and the Multimedia library that contribute equally to a large extent to the academic success of the students at ITHQ.
The Tremplin
Its role: To help students succeed in their studies in French, second languages (English, Spanish, and Italian), Computer Science, and Philosophy.
The Student Support Counselor
His role: To support students in their learning; To help during the progression of their studies (course selection, grades, etc.); To advise students with personal and professional choices; To support students who are having personal difficulties affecting their studies; To provide academic and professional information adapted to the students’ needs.
The Pedagogical Project Counselor
His role: To provide financial, material, and technical support to students which will allow them to accomplish projects related to their studies.
Student Affairs Services
In addition to its involvement in student life, this service provides the structure and support necessary for the fulfillment of students’ projects. Its role: – To provide information on student loans and bursaries; – To assure the posting of job openings; – To distribute application forms provided by various transport associations; – To help find lodging for ITHQ students.
